Tracy Fink is a coach, teacher and speaker who is passionate about showing people how to treat themselves as they would their best friend or client. She is the Founder of The Tortoise Institute where she consults with companies and organizations to build awareness and compassion practices to boost individual and team effectiveness.

  • Prior To The Tortoise Institute

    Before starting The Tortoise Institute, Tracy was a Director of Marketing and the Director of the Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), an inclusive business development program she conceived and executed nationwide at CohnReznick LLC.  EWF created business development opportunities, positioned the women of the Firm as thought leaders in the markets they serve, and elevated the Firm’s brand in the space of women’s leadership.

    She has worked with numerous professional service firms including banks, law and accounting firms.

    Tracy is a frequent speaker on topics including The Business Case for Mindfulness; Self-Care Strategies; The Restorative Power of Breathwork; Motivation, Values and Resilience; and Self-Compassion as a Strategy For Resiliency.

  • Education & Certifications

    Tracy holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in Psychology from Boston University. She has a certificate from Harvard Law School Program on Negotiations.  Tracy completed a year-long Teacher Certification Program at Search Inside Yourself, the global evidence-based emotional intelligence program engineered at Google.  She was named a Top Intrapreneur in 2016 by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and was recognized as a Best 50 Women in Business by NJBiz in 2018. 

    Tracy is an advisor for the Center of Women’s Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University.  She is also a mentor for their Women's Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship (WISE), a student-led group dedicated to helping young women develop an innovative mindset through interactive workshops, a thought-incubator, and mentorship pairings.
