Tracy Fink is a coach, teacher and speaker who is passionate about showing people how to become “unstuck” and flourish in their environments.  She is the Founder of The Tortoise Institute which offers leadership development workshops, one-on-one coaching as well as resilience training in corporate, community and individual settings.  With practice and commitment, participants have reported increased self-awareness, focused attention, creativity and improved relationships.

  • Prior To The Tortoise Institute

    Before starting The Tortoise Institute, Tracy was a Director of Marketing and the Director of the Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), an inclusive business development program she conceived and executed nationwide at CohnReznick LLC.  EWF created business development opportunities, positioned the women of the Firm as thought leaders in the markets they serve, and elevated the Firm’s brand in the space of women’s leadership.

    She has worked with numerous professional service firms including banks, law and accounting firms.

    Tracy is a frequent speaker on topics including The Business Case for Mindfulness; Evidence-Based Negotiation Strategies; Self-Compassion as a Strategy For Resiliency; Sponsor vs. Mentor; and Navigating Difficult Conversations.  She has presented for leadership teams and audiences including HLB International Conference, PNC Bank, Perry Ellis, BioNJ Women’s Conference, Withum, Riker Danzig LLP, Connell Foley, Dress for Success, Rider University and The New School.

  • Education & Certifications

    Tracy holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in Psychology from Boston University. She has a certificate from Harvard Law School Program on Negotiations.  Tracy completed a year-long Teacher Certification Program at Search Inside Yourself, the global evidence-based emotional intelligence program engineered at Google.  She was named a Top Intrapreneur in 2016 by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and was recognized as a Best 50 Women in Business by NJBiz in 2018. 

    Tracy is a mentor for the Women's Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship (WISE), a student-led group at Northeastern University dedicated to helping women develop an innovative mindset through interactive workshops, a thought-incubator, and mentorship pairings.
