Our Workshops

Mindfulness-based emotional intelligence (EI) connects the benefits of focused attention and well-being to the needs of individuals, team, leadership and the organization as a whole.  This can be learned and is an integral part of leadership development in that it contributes to employee effectiveness and happiness at work and in relationships.

Keynote

Introduction to mindfulness-based emotional intelligence that is secular and science-based.  Focusing on the building blocks of EI with particular attention to self–awareness. 

Motivation

Including values alignment, envisioning and resilience.

Empathy and Compassionate Leadership

Applicable in building a more diverse and inclusive culture; giving difficult feedback, addressing empathetic distress (burnout).

Self-Management

Tools to skillfully navigate difficult emotions at work including emotional awareness, body scan and takeaway exercises. 

Self-Compassion as a Strategy for Resilience

Recognizing self-compassion as an acceptance practice to address persistent emotions such as anxiety, self-doubt and lack of motivation.

Communicating with Insight

Including experiential exercises to navigate difficult conversations, as outlined by the Harvard Negotiation Team

These modules can be taught in a Lunch N Learn format or as separate training sessions.

Each session is approximately 1 -1.5 hours, but can be customized for your needs.

One-On-One Coaching

Using focused attention and compassion building techniques, we work together to address feelings of self-doubt, distractions, failure, mind clutter, and inadequacy. The end result is increased emotional intelligence. Sessions are done remotely using Zoom or telephone, or in person as available.

Meditation Classes

Creating group meditation sessions to build attention, develop self-awareness, increase creativity, embrace vulnerability, increase focus, see similarities, and create connection. Practices include breathwork, open awareness, body scans, and loving kindness. Sessions include conversations about wisdom, service to others, resilience, common humanity, and tools to respond to triggers.
